Newsletter “ Le Trait d’union ”

The association publishes three times yearly a newsletter of at least 20 pages and has done so since its founding in 1993. Filled with information often previously unpublished, members get a free copy as a membership benefit. Members may choose to receive the newsletter in paper format through the mail or as a PDF document by e-mail.

As a member, you are invited to publish articles, photos, documents, or to solicit solutions to your genealogical problems which will be published on the “ Question page ” (la foire aux questions). The Newsletter is published in February, June and October and your material must reach us by the first of the previous month by e-mail at pierre.ducharme@gmail.com or by mail at

Charron and Ducharme dictionaries

The Association  published in 2008 two of four volumes about the descendants of Pierre Charron and Catherine Pillard. The last two volumes will be published in 2011.

Charron from Meaux and allied families

The Association publisheded in 2009 all the acts and contracts about our Charron ancestors in Meaux, which were uncovered through research carried out in the departmental archives of Seine-et-Marne. This is undoubtedly an exceptional document. Click here for the order form.
