A crown made up of a gold circle with nine points, each surmounted by a pearl.

Coat of Arms: of azure to a silver band accompanied by two gold decorative branches of thirteen parts.  Those decorative branches are called "cotises".

The cotises are the two tilted parallel tapes, having an odd number of " T's ", arranged with another " T ", so as to form thirteen " T's ", the odd number indicating the indefinite number of Thibaults having a link with Champagne. This blazon is that of Champagne topped with the crown of the count.

These armorial bearings were borne on the shields of the knights of Thibault de Champagne.

OUR MOTTO

PASSE AVANT LE MEILLEUR which could be translated as ADVANCE BEFORE THE BEST.

This motto is the oldest in France.  It was the war and rallying cry of the soldiers of the armies of Thibault of Champagne during those centuries.
