To promote and develop our family association,  to become more acquainted with our members and their achievements.

To study the immigration and the dissemination of the Therrien, Thérien, Terrien, families on the North American continent.

To acquaint ourselves with our origins in France, by constantly researching the roots of our ancestors and their descendants.

To preserve in our archives all documents and other information dealing with the history of our family members.

To organize local and/or regional meetings in order to regroup our members and their families by celebrating  special events as they relate to our ancestors and their descendants.

To update on a continual basis our genealogical database and the information on our family history.

To publish twice a year our genealogical bulletin, which helps to better inform our members of past and forthcoming events.

To invite all persons with our surname or related to become members of our family association.
