WHY A FAMILY ASSOCIATION ?

To respond to the natural curiosity of anyone, not only to know people who made their history, but also to widen the circle of immediate family and to get to know, fraternize and and make friends with people of the same name.

GOALS AND OBJECTIVES

- To regroup anyone, direct descendants or allies, born from one or more ancestors of the same name.

- To make members aware of and appreciate their history, their heritage and ancestors and to get to know and find out other Tessier's implication in their communities.

- To give everyone a feeling of pride to bear this name and to be descended from this great family (in the association).

- To encourage and favor the formation of a research group in genealogy so to be able to circulate knowledge of our family heritage by the newsletter, in genealogical publications and at reunions which are also excellent occasions to tighten the bond of family connection.

MEMBER'S PRIVILEGES

- Receive a membership card;

- Receive the association's newsletter;

- Attend meetings, back to roots trips and other activities;

- Write articles for the newsletter;

- Attend general assemblies and have the right to vote;

- Adhere to your association and be active;

MEMBER'S DUTIES

- Pay your annual dues;

- Attend and collaborate to the association's activities;

- Share family photos and mementos;

- Make constructive suggestions;

- Promote the association to other family members and friends;

- Cultivate a feeling of belonging and unity.
