The Association is governed by a Board of Directors, comprised of nine directors elected by the membership at large.They are volunteers and meet at least three times a year. You may contact them as needed to offer your suggestions or to obtain pertinent information.

LEVESQUE ASSOCIATION INC. The Levesque Association Inc.* received its charter on November 26, 1997, and held its founding meeting on June 20th, 1998, at Rivière-Ouelle, QC. The Association is a nonprofit corporation. International and bilingual in scope, the Association encompasses all descendants of the various Levesque ancestors, either through direct descent or affiliation, in Canada and elsewhere. Now all Levesque families throughout the world can finally boast that they have their very own family Association! The Association brings a value and a sense of pride to all those who have the Levesque surname. Your surname took root in New France (Québec) and North America from the beginning of the colony. Be proud of your Levesque name and join the Association that is dedicated to revive and strengthen your family ties. Following a dynamic and enthusiastic debut, the Association wants to retain its momentum. Your support and cooperation are needed in order to achieve the many projects already underway. Goals The Levesque Association's main goals are to: promote the gathering of descendants of all Levesque ancestors in Canada and throughout the world, either through direct descent or affiliation; organize family reunions, displays and trips in order to develop and promote the history and genealogy of Levesque families; support the publishing, printing and distribution of documents related to Levesque families; and promote the collecting of all documents which could add to the history of the large Levesque family.
