The first public annual reunion in August 1994 to launch the Association. It was at the World Trade Center in Montreal and attracted over 50 people, the majority of which immediately became members. We even had a Radio-Canada commentator reading from a La Presse newspaper clip that day and extolling the reunion of the World Association of Laporte & St. Georges at the World Trade Center.
