Procedures to be followed:

I would wish that those which will send to me in the future, their lines of Gosselin to be added to the data base, proceed as follows: Firstly, see in my data base: with

To seek starting from which couple of ancestors you miss data. This should be after the years 1800.

This information should contain, as much as possible, of the marriage, death, dates of birth as well as the places and all the children whom they have with each couple which would be added to the new line, with all the details on them. And also as much as possible, parents of the husband or the wife.

Since this database is that of the Gosselin family, the names of the children born from a Gosselin woman, as well as their husband and/or wives, are essential to the database but their children are not.

If you use a software of genealogy, it is very easy to start from the name of the couple from where you miss information, and to generate a textual file of the families with all the data which you have on your ancestors. Lastly, if you find keying errors or all other errors by traversing the data base, I would appreciate that you make me share of it, to correct them.

This way of making will enable me to concentrate on the input of the data, and not to have to waste invaluable time to excavate in your family tree, and to try to find information which could be useful as addition for the central bank of data on Gosselin.
