François DUMAS – an Acadian DUMAS

A marriage between a François DUMAS and a Marguerite VINET, which took place on 25 September 1752, is recorded in Louisbourg registers.

This François DUMAS was the son of Claude and Catherine CHABRIÉ and came from Marchastel (in the Cantal region). Marguerite VINET was the daughter of Pierre, a master carpenter, and of Claire MARTIN.

It is not known what happened of this couple.
