There will be a third gathering hold on August 18th and 19th 2001 at Black Lake.

The objective of this gathering was to make a census of all the Daigle from the following regions : l’Amiante and les Bois-Francs.

The invitation was extended to the Daigle dit l’Allemand’s descendants from New Hampshire.

Saturday was especially planned to welcome the Franco-Americans.  There was a visit of the Amiante’s region, cemeteries where our ancestors have been buried and an exposition of old pictures, etc…, After dinner, there was a concert entitle « Daigle ».

On Sunday there was the annual assembly and Jean-Pierre told about the Daigle living in the area.

A brunch was served and there was time allowed to socialize with our guests.
