ASSOCIATION HISTORY

A Bérubé family committee decided to create the "Association des familles Bérubé inc." on a Sunday in the summer of 1983. On the 19th of March 1985, the Association received it's patent.

Dr Marius Bérubé has been the first president of the Association.

The Association and its regional subdivisions have many achievements to their credit. Amongst them the Great Bérubé Assembly in Rivière-Ouelle in july 1988, many regional meetings in North America, a few trips to Normandy and the bulletin Le Monde Berrubey.

The greatest achievement is certainly the books Les Bérubé d'hier et d'aujourd'hui Volume I, published in July 1988, reprinted in 1993, and Volume II published in June 2000.
