des familles Bélanger, inc.,
the only official Bélanger association,
is a non profit organisation incorporated under
No 1148751150; it is a member of the Fédération des Familles
Souches, inc.
We salute all those that bear the patronymic
Bélanger and we invite them to join us in the preferment of the pride
of belonging to this fine family, one of the oldest and most numerous in
Québec estimated at about 65 000 souls; 15 000 in the rest of Canada;
15 000 in the United States and abroad.
Historians have searched for the origin
of the Bélanger name. They have found many possibilities. Let's only
say that François spelled his name BELLENGER while Nicolas spelled
his BELLANGER.
