The origin of François Frigon dit Lespagnol is still unknown.
Therefore all information is welcome. Please communicate whatever information you might have to pfrigon@videotron.ca.

Our ancestors settled in Batiscan in 1671, on a concession of land granted to them by the Jesuits who were the Seigneurs of this area.

The headings “François Frigon” and “Marie-Claude Chamois” listed on the menu give some information about their lives.

To inform the members about our ancestors, the Association has published numerous articles in the newsletter The Frigons , mainly under the headings Light on the Past, François Frigon dit Lespagnol, and Marie-Claude Chamois.
See the index of articles published under “Publications/Newsletters” on the Web site. Many articles have been published concerning grandparents who lived in the 19 th century either in Canada, the United States or Australia.
Much genealogical information appears in the column “Who are the Frigons?» “To Better Know One Another” recounts stories from the lives of some of our contemporaries.

You can view the first six generations of the Frigon family's male lineage by clicking on «Agnatic Lineage» in the menu.
